Warrior Construction was inspired by my Grandfather, John Glandon. He served in the Navy for 31 years. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was part of the medical staff of the USS Lake Champlain carrier when it picked up three Apollo Mission astronauts after a splash down landing. During his military career, he received several medals of distinction, including the Bronze Star. After his military career, he worked in several diverse fields. he managed a nursing home in Annapolis, delivered medical supplies, and worked for John Driggs Construction supervising earth moving crews. In his spare time, he was  a sports enthusiast and joined many softball, volleyball and bowling teams. He enjoyed sailing, diving, pool, croquet, and walking on his hands. He also enjoyed board games, including Scrabble. He was in a monthly poker game with family and friends for many years. He was also an avid gardener.
